The Laser Beam Analyzer Software (BAS) software can be used in conjunction with the “At-Line” Laser Beam Waist Analyzer (BWA) Camera and/or “In-Line” Laser Beam Analyzer (BA) Camera frame grabber/camera systems to analyze the shape of a laser beam.

The Laser Beam Analyzer Software (BAS) is designed based on the international standards ISO 11146 and ISO 13694 which relate to lasers and laser related equipment and laser beam spatial metrics. The ISO standards are generic in nature allowing for several different laboratory setups and testing techniques.

A sophisticated, yet easy to use report generator produces a variety of reports in PDF, Excel, HTML or several other formats for publication or printing. Single page summary reports as well as multi-page reports including all logged data and charts can be produced.

The Laser Beam Analyzer Software (BAS) program uses full image based second moment techniques, but includes knife edge based measurements and equation fitting (Gaussian, Super Gaussian, and Super Donut) techniques as well to determine quick and reliable standard beam parameters. Calculated results can be viewed in tabular form as well as logged to view changes over time. Visualization windows include X and Y axis plots, 3D view of laser beam, histograms and database reports.

The software is specifically designed to support Windows XP / Vista operating systems. It is available as 32 Bit / 64 Bit version and can control up to four beam profiler cameras on a single computer.
