SSDP-19 Safety Shutter with Diode Pointer

The SSDP-19 is designed to temporarily terminate laser beam emissions for user safety. When the shutter is closed, the laser beam is reflected off of the shutter blade into a beam dump to terminate the beam.

The replaceable beam dump can be ordered in several styles. The blade is designed for fail-safe operation and is automatically closed with the absences of power. The unit is to be mounted in line (co-linear) with the laser beam to be terminated. While in safe mode an optional red laser pointing diode will replace the original beam if desired. The diode pointer option utilizes a 650nm diode laser with 1/4"-80 pitch adjustment screws for pointer beam alignment.
