POL-15 Laser Beam Polarizer

Our Laser Beam Polarizer is an adjustable rotation mount that holds either a half waveplate or quarter waveplate. When used with a half waveplate, the polarization of the input beam is rotated by 90 degrees. It is most often used in combination with a thin film polarizer as an adjustable attenuation means. When used with a quarter waveplate, a linearly polarized beam is converted to a circularly polarized beam when the axis of the quarter waveplate is rotated 45 degrees to the incoming linearly polarized beam.
